Collecting information

While signing up for Glosty, you voluntarily provide us with certain information, including, but not limited to, name, profile photo, email address, published bookable services, booking history, contact information, location, reviews and favourites.

We also automatically create and record certain technical information, when you access and use our Services. The technical information includes log data; cookie data (“session” or “persistent”), for instance, to store account preferences or other settings; and device information.

Using collected information

The collected information from you is used to provide you with our Services, to improve them, to protect Glosty and its users.

The information is also used to:

  • offer you customised content, including suggesting Services that you might like, displaying you ads that you might be interested in;
  • send you updates, newsletters and marketing materials and other Content that correspond to your interests and preferences;
  • respond to your questions or feedbacks.

Changing Your Information

You can access and change the information in your Glosty Account at any time for any reason, including your username, name and surname, email address, location, password, social media accounts, position and workspace information for Vendors, such as work location, address, contact number, city, country.

You can also deactivate you Glosty Account at any time for any reason. We may retain archived copies of your information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. To deactivate your account, you need to contact support@glosty.com.au 

Sharing Your Information

Glosty is a website where hair professionals can share their past works as bookable services. Any Content submitted, posted, or displayed by you will be viewed by other users of the Services and through third party services and websites.

Glosty may disclose collected information when we find it necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or Glosty; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.

We may also share non-personally identifiable information with Glosty partners to improve and develop our Services.

Restrictions

Glosty does not provide Services to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, that information will be deleted as quickly as possible. If you learn that your minor child has given us personal information without your permission, please contact us at support@glosty.com.au

Amendments

We may modify these Privacy Policy, for instance, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. If you continue accessing or using the Services it constitutes your acceptance of our amended Privacy Policy.
